How Code Darbar handles the information you share with us, and the choices you have.

Last updated: 10 September 2026

Who we are

Code Darbar is a web development, digital marketing and AI automation agency based in Vehari, Punjab, Pakistan, working with clients worldwide. This policy covers this website and the enquiries you send through it. For anything in this policy, contact us at contact@codedarbar.com.

Information we collect

We only collect what we need to answer you and to run the site:

  • Details you type into a form: your name, email address, and the subject and content of your message. The free audit form also asks for your website address and what you want reviewed.
  • Reviews you choose to submit: the name, role and testimonial you enter, plus a rating. Nothing is published until we approve it.
  • Messages you send to the AI assistant on this site, so it can answer you during that conversation.
  • Technical information your browser sends automatically, such as your IP address, device type and pages visited, used to keep the site secure and to understand what is popular.

We do not ask for payment card details on this website, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote or proposal.
  • To deliver and support work you have engaged us for.
  • To publish a testimonial, only where you submitted one and we have approved it.
  • To measure how the site performs and improve it.
  • To protect the site against spam, abuse and security threats.

Where the UK or EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, our lawful bases are your consent (for optional analytics and for publishing a testimonial), the steps needed before entering a contract (answering your enquiry), performing a contract (delivering work) and our legitimate interests (keeping the site secure and improving it).

Analytics and cookies

This site can use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use it. Where Google Analytics runs, IP addresses are anonymised. These tools are only active when we have configured them. Full detail on what is stored in your browser, and how to switch it off, is in our Cookie Policy.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We do use service providers who process data on our behalf:

  • Our hosting provider and database provider, which store the site and the enquiries you send.
  • Email providers used to deliver and receive messages.
  • Google (Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity), where those tools are enabled.
  • Anthropic, which powers the AI assistant, if you choose to chat with it.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims.

International transfers

We operate from Pakistan and our providers may store data in other countries, including in the United States and the European Union. Where data protection law requires it, transfers are covered by the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of our dealings, and are deleted when they are no longer needed. Records connected to paid work are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Published testimonials are kept until you ask us to remove them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email contact@codedarbar.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, administrator access is password protected, and enquiries are stored in a managed database with restricted access. No system is perfectly secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information such as passwords or identity documents through the contact form.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and the date at the top. Please check back occasionally.
