Terms & Conditions

The terms for using this website and for work carried out by Code Darbar.

Last updated: 10 September 2026

About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website and to any work Code Darbar, based in Vehari, Punjab, Pakistan, carries out for you. Where we sign a separate proposal, quotation or contract with you, that document takes precedence over anything here that conflicts with it.

Using this website

You may browse the site and contact us freely. You may not attempt to break into it, disrupt it, scrape it at a scale that affects other visitors, or use it to send unlawful or abusive content. We may change or withdraw any part of the site at any time.

Quotes and pricing

Prices shown on this site are indicative starting points, not offers. Currency conversions are shown for convenience and use an approximate rate. A binding price is only the one we give you in a written quotation for your specific project, and quotations are valid for 30 days unless we say otherwise.

How projects run

  • Work begins once the quotation is accepted in writing and any agreed deposit is paid.
  • The scope is what the quotation lists. Anything added later is quoted separately before we build it.
  • Timelines assume you supply content, access, approvals and feedback when agreed; delays there move the delivery date.
  • We test on a staging copy and hand over after your written approval.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of content, logos, images and data you give us, and for holding the rights to use them. You are also responsible for keeping the credentials we hand over secure.

Payment

Invoices are payable by the date stated on them. Where a project is staged, each stage is invoiced as it is reached. We may pause work on overdue accounts. Any bank charges, transfer fees or taxes applicable in your country are yours to cover unless the quotation says otherwise.

Ownership of the work

On full payment, you own the custom code, designs and content we produce specifically for your project. Third-party components keep their own licences, and we retain the rights to our pre-existing tools, libraries and know-how, which we may reuse. Unless you ask us not to, we may show the finished work in our portfolio.

Third-party services

Projects often depend on services we do not control, such as hosting, domains, payment gateways, WordPress or Shopify plugins, advertising platforms and AI model providers. Their own terms, availability, pricing and policy changes apply, and we are not responsible for them.

Support and warranty

We fix defects in our own work, reported within 30 days of handover, at no charge. That does not cover changes to scope, problems caused by edits made by others, or breakages caused by third-party updates. Ongoing maintenance is available separately.

Results and marketing

Search rankings, AI-answer citations, traffic and conversions depend on factors outside our control, including competitors and platform algorithms. We do not guarantee specific rankings, positions or revenue, and any figures we discuss are estimates, not promises.

Confidentiality

Each of us will keep the other’s non-public information confidential and use it only for the project. This does not apply to information that is already public or that we are required by law to disclose.

Liability

The website and its content are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any project is limited to the fees you paid us for that project, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost data or indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Cancellation

Either of us may end a project in writing. You pay for work completed and for commitments already made on your behalf up to that date. Deposits cover work already scheduled and are non-refundable unless the quotation says otherwise.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Where a signed contract with you specifies a different jurisdiction, that contract governs.
